Erica Patricia Saucedo is a movement artist, choreographer, and educator based on the unceded territory of the Jumanos, Tonkawa, Kónitsąąíí gokíyaa (Cúelcahén Ndé - Lipan Apache), Coahuiltecan, and the Nʉmʉnʉʉ (Comanche) peoples, otherwise known as Austin, Texas. A current M.F.A. in Dance and Social Justice candidate at The University of Texas at Austin, Saucedo's research is a curious exploration and celebration of brownness. Chicana dance artist Bonnie Cox explores identity and social phenomena through performance, choreography, and pedagogy. She currently serves as the Director of Dance at St. Stephen's Episcopal School, and Co-Director of Geografía, a dance festival that centralizes the work of Latinx dance artists in Texas. Bonnie received her MFA in dance from The University of Colorado Boulder in 2018 and BFA from Texas State University in 2011. Angelica is an afro-indigenous movement artist, choreographer, director and educator from Belem, a city in the heart of the Brazilian Amazon Rainforest. She established and directed Companhia Mirai de Danca, the first street dance company and school of the State of Para-Brazil, where she became a local reference in Waacking. Angelica has a B.A. in Dance and Education from the Universidade federal do Para and a certificate in Child Development from City College of San Francisco. Currently, she is an MFA candidate in the Dance and Social Justice Program at The University of Texas at Austin where she researches dance through anti-colonial lenses. As her body practice, she focuses on Hip Hop, Waacking, and experimental movement in relation to Brazilian traditional afro-indigenous performances. Originally from El Paso, Texas, Sarah Annie Navarrete is an Austin based artist working in a diverse area of mediums including performance, photography and film. Ále Acevedo is a musician and sound designer working towards a B.S. degree in Arts and Entertainment Technologies at the University of Texas at Austin, where they are studying all the applications of music and sound from live performance to video game compositions. They are interested in the sonic landscape as a means of nonverbal expression/communication, utilizing music or soundscapes as a language to speak with listeners on a subconscious level. They are currently self-employed in Austin, doing freelance work and taking commissions for projects like sound design for games or music for animatics. Ále's other collaborations include various game jams, mixing and mastering for other musicians' works, and the spring 2020 Waller Creek Project physical soundscape. Walter Nichols is an Austin based musician and bread baker––crafts that, to him, are inextricably linked. After focusing on the arts through grade school, Nichols received a Bachelors of Music in Composition. Since then, he has written concert music, scored film and video games, created music and soundscapes for theatre and dance, and produced records for himself and in collaboration with others. All the while, Nichols has nurtured his passion for bread-making, culminating in the creation of Hello Bread, Nichols's cottage sourdough bakery. Kelsey Oliver, an Austin native, is a freelance choreographer, performer, and artist in the digs for ridiculously experimental theatre, video, and dance. Trained as a dancer, KO has spent recent years dabbling in costume design and curation, styling for Frank Wo/Men Collective, Heloise Gold, CAPYAC, The Reverie, and many solo & duet works. Routinely scrappy and always in collaboration, Kelsey has worked with Rude Mechanicals, Salvage Vanguard Theatre, Magdalena Jarkowiec, Heloise Gold, Thee Gay Agenda, Body Shift, + more, and is Artistic Director of Frank Wo/Men Collective. Kelsey received a B.F.A. in Dance in 2015, studying at the University of Texas at Austin and Le Centre National de Danse Contemporaine in Angers, France. She has also been an adjudicator, choreographer, and dance instructor for studios and teams throughout Texas.
